Shakespeare Week

Shakespeare Week

It has been wonderful to see all the celebrations of the life and works of William Shakespeare this week. Children have experienced some of the exciting stories which Shakespeare wrote such as Macbeth and The Tempest and enjoyed learning about his life. There have been some wonderful portraits of Shakespeare drawn and members of our drama club have been practising a scene from Romeo and Juliet which they are looking forward to performing at our spring concert next week. It has also been lovely to see the children using the Shakespeare passports they were given last week to research this great writer.
