Robotics Club Trip to Sunderland-A Message from Mr Flynnwood

On Wednesday 8th January, our robotics club took part in the national competition, VEQ IQ, at the Nissan plant in Sunderland. We had to work together with other teams to try and move balls and boxes around the area to score points. The children had worked on building the robot that they took to the competition and made further modifications once we were at the event. Our team represented the school with integrity and were full of joy all day. Thank you to each of the children and an extra special thank you to Laura Patterson who came along and helped on the day. Well done children, I am very proud of you. We are hoping to buy some additional robotics equipment that will even further enhance our STEM learning at Cragside.
