Extra Curricular Activities

24th January 2020

If you would like your child to take part in one of these, please would you send back the reply slip by Monday 3rd February. If we are oversubscribed for clubs, we will then draw the names of children out of a hat and inform parents which clubs have been allocated. We do not have many clubs on a Wednesday as all the teachers are involved in staff meetings on that evening. We are already planning additional clubs for the summer term when the weather will hopefully be warmer and the nights lighter. This means we can access the outdoors more during this term. I am grateful to all the staff who volunteer to run these clubs and hope the children enjoy taking part in them. There are also other activities which often happen at lunchtimes such as our prayer station groups which children are invited to take part in which we share with children through the school day. If any parents from Year 1 to Year 6 would like their child to learn a musical instrument (djembe drum, violin or ukulele), please would you contact Miss Westgarth who will let you know about this.
